There must be something about concrete and mass holidays — be it under the Spanish sun at Benidorm or in the snow of the French Alps. All of a sudden we had to think of this classic Breuer-up-a-mountain: a ski resort at Flaine, near Chamonix, part of the Grand Massif, which was designed by Marcel Breuer & Associates between 1960-69 and more than holds its own against the brute nature that surrounds it.
