Fiona Shipwright is a freelance writer and editor based in Berlin. A graduate of the University of Reading and Chelsea College of Art & Design with a background in art and philosophy, she has keen interest in science, technology and urbanism. She joined uncube as an Editor in 2014 after working for Phaidon Press since 2009. In 2015 she was part of the team for the inaugural edition of the Make City architecture and urbanism festival in Berlin. Her writing has also appeared in rhizome, super/collider and elsewhere.
George Kafka joined uncube as an editorial assistant and was blog editor between January and April 2016. He studied Comparative American Studies at the University of Warwick and has written for Port, Huck and Time Out Buenos Aires. His interests include informal urbanism, street art and Latin American architecture.

Previously Exhibitions Curator at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London. In 2012 he was one of the founding editors of uncube and later, editor-at-large from February until April 2016.

With a focus on art and technology, she contributes to publications including frieze d/e, The Architectural Review, Art in America, Flash Art, Texte zur Kunst, Sleek, and Dazed.
