How can I object to transfer of my data?
You may use our website without providing personal data. Certain services at BauNetz.de may only be used if you have consented to processing and transfer. Among others, these include ordering brochures and catalogues or information request with manufacturers of building and furniture products.
If you would like to object to the transfer of data or request blocking of your data for further processing, please contact our customer service by postal mail, by phone, via Fax or by e-mail.

Collection and storing of personal data and the nature and purpose of their use

We process personal data for the protection of legitimate interests of our company and those of third parties. Among others, these include: Occasional promotional information, customer surveys for improving our service, assertion of legal claims as non-payment of our services, resolving criminal offences, exercising domiciliary rights, measures aimed at protecting personal data.
You may object at any time if we occasionally inform you on interesting or conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
When visiting our website
When you access our website, the browser you used on your end device automatically sends data to our website server. These data will be temporarily stored in a so-called log file. In the course of this procedure, the following data is collected and stored, without any action on your part, until the time of automatic deletion:

Legal basis for data processing: Art. 6, para. 1, S. lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest results from the purposes listed above for data collection. The collected data will never be used for the purpose of drawing conclusions as to you as an individual. In addition, we are using cookies and analytical services when you visit our website.

For contract fulfillment
We process personal data in compliance with the provisions on the processing of personal data in order to comply with contractual obligations. (Art. 6, para. 1 b GDPR). Data processing is carried out in the context of implementation of our agreements with our clients or for the execution of pre-contract measures at request. Where necessary we process your data beyond the boundaries of contract fulfillment for protecting the legitimate rights (Art. 6, paragraph 1 f GDPR) of our company or those of third parties. You may object to this use of your postal address and/or e-mail address any time by sending a message to the contact address below or by clicking on a corresponding link provided in the e-mail. The legislators have imposed a number of obligations and deadlines. Upon expiry of the deadlines, the corresponding data will be deleted automatically provided that it is no longer required for the purpose of fulfilling a contract. If data is not affected by this, it is deleted as soon as the collection objective has ceased to exist.

In case of newsletter subscription
Our website offers the option to subscribe to a newsletter.
If you expressed explicit consent according to Art. 6, para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR, we will use your e-mail address for sending you our regular newsletter/s. For receiving our newsletter/the newsletter you will need to state your first name and surname, an e-mail address and your postal code. When subscribing to our newsletter, your IP address and the date and time of your subscription will be stored as well. This serves as a precaution measure on our part in case a third party misuses your e-mail address and subscribes to our newsletter without your knowledge. You may revoke your subscription at any time by clicking on the link in the conformation e-mail or the unsubscribe link in each newsletter. Your data will be stored in our system until you unsubscribe.

Comment function
Our website offers the option of submitting comments on each message in the architecture newsletter. In this case, the IP address of the author/owner of the connection will be stored. This storage comes as a precaution measure on our part in case the author’s comment interferes with the rights of third parties or illegal content is published. Therefore, the stored data of the author represent our own interest as well, particularly since we might be prosecuted for such a violation of rights under certain circumstances. No data will be passed on to a third party. There will also be no comparative evaluation of data thus obtained with data collected via other components on other website components. There are no provisions for deletion periods of comments.

Registration function
We offer the possibility to register on our website. The data entered into this input template as part of this registration process (first name, surname, e-mail address, street, postal code, location, profession) will be collected and stored exclusively for the use of our offerings. With your registration to our website we will also store your IP address and the date and time of registration. This serves as a precaution measure on our part in case your data will be misused by a third party for registration on our website without your knowledge.  No data will be passed on to a third party. Web beacons collecting society WORT (VG WORT)
Our website uses the so-called "web beacon" from the collecting society WORT in form of SZM (Scaleable Centralised Measuring System, Skalierbare Zentrale Messverfahren“) by the provider INFOnline GmbH (INFOnline GmbH, Forum Bonn Nord, Brühler Str. 9, 53119 Bonn) for the calculation of statistical key figures regarding the likelihood for text copying.
Data obtainment is anonymous. For recognition of our website visitors, acquisition of the daily traffic uses either a so-called session cookie or a signature, which is created from different information automatically transmitted by your browser. The IP address will only be processed in an anonymous form. No individual users will be identified at any time for this purpose. This process aims at calculating the likelihood of copying of individual texts.

Use of Vimeo components
Our page uses components from the provider Vimeo.  Vimeo is a service from Vimeo LCC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. Each single call of our website embedded with such component prompts the browser to download a corresponding display of the component from Vimeo. When you call up our website, Vimeo recognizes the information gathered by the component on the specific page you are visiting and assigns this information to your personal Vimeo account. For example, if you click on the “play” button or submit relevant comments, this information will be transmitted and saved to your personal Vimeo user account. Audience measurement by IVW
Heinze GmbH | NL Berlin | BauNetz is member of  the information community to establish the spread of advertising medium (Informationsgemeinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e.V. (IVW) and applies Scaleable Centralised Measuring System next Generation (SZMnG) by INFOnline GmbH for determining statistical parameters on the usage of our services. Audience measurement targets to calculate the number of visitors and web site impressions based on a unified standard procedure in order to obtain market-wide comparable values. These performance values can be viewed at IVW. No individual users will be identified at any time.
The measurement carried out by INFOnline GmbH by means of the SZMnG measurement system is carried out with legitimate interest according to Art. 6, para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The measurement targets to make the usage of our offerings comprehensible and verifiable to our media partners. Prior to any processing, IP addresses are shortened by 1 byte. The addresses will only be passed on in an anonymised form.
For recognition of computer systems, the measurement system either applies a cookie with the identifier “ioam.de”, a Local Storage Object or a signature created from different informations that have been automatically transmitted by your browser.
